Penny Otwell Palette Knife Work

Western Azealea, Yosemite Valley, acrylic on canvas, 20x20"

I did this painting during the spring here in Yosemite and right before the buds were in full bloom.  What I like about these fragrant flowers is their peachy color.  In full bloom, they look more white.  They smell like Honeysuckle.
