I was looking for a break from my figure subjects and came across a few lovely bird references. I thought they would look awesome if done with the knife, but boy did it require patience or what! I went in for a detailed approach, so that the form of the bird, its feathers were all quite clear. I really like how it turned out! Let me know what you think.
