We visited the Netherlands in early April this year, which, considering the excruciating winter was very early for the tulips to bloom. We could see only small patched of tulips, but to make up for that, there were acres and acres of daffodils. Bright and sunny flowers in every direction. This painting is from one of the daffodil fields, which has different types of daffodils next to each other. Bright yellow, some white, almost orange and so on. Simply irresistible to an artist!
